Daddy rocks! No. . . Mama rocks!

*This conversation was overheard in the car, on the way to church this morning*

Dan is driving, quickly.  He skates through a yellow light and says, “Daddy rocks!”

Ava quickly says, “No, no, no!  Mama rocks!”

Ahh the truth out of a two-year-old 🙂

Update: As I read this post to Dan and Ava, this is the conversation.

Jaime:  (reading the post aloud) Dan is driving, quickly.  He skates through a yellow light and says, “Daddy rocks!”

Ava: NO, NO, NO! Mama rocks!

Dan: But see, “Mama rocks!” fully expecting her to disagree and say Daddy rocks.

Ava: Mama rocks!

Dan: I’m going to go back to my reading. . .

I believe in Christ, and sometimes I'm just trying to figure out what He wants me to do. This blog chronicles that journey.
