Lately she’s been a sponge, just learning everything she can about what Mama and Dada do. I shook my finger at her once to tell her no, and the next time she told me not to take her toy away, she shook her finger at me. She’s not even two yet!
Then tonight Dan and I were discussing changing the way we put her to bed. She’s getting to be a big girl, and she can begin to go to bed on her own. She heard us having this conversation and went over to our bed and hugged it. She knew we were considering putting her to sleep in her own bed, and she had other plans.
It’s almost an hour later. She’s in her room, alone, with the music on and a bottle of milk, lying down. We’re making progress. . .
