Ava’s First Words

So she’s mastered: Mama, Dada, hi, bye and me.  On to greener pastures, right?

So what did she just learn to finally say?

Fitting for the daughter of a librarian and a principal, two avid bookworms. . .

About jaimeanne

I'm me. Graphic designer extraordinaire, urban master teacher of social studies, former adjunct professor, high school principal, and now most importantly-- Mom to the cutest little girl ever. I try to live by the quote, "Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching." I believe in Christ, and sometimes I'm just trying to figure out what He wants me to do. This blog chronicles that journey.

    that’s awesome!

Congratulations! our gabito is still only speaking in onomonopoiea [I make no effort to spell that right].

  3. Jaime Anne says:

Haha! we love onomatopoeia! i can still remember mr. zaleta drilling that word into our minds in 8th grade English class. He even did a matching that spelled onomatopoeia going down the correct answers! It’s O-no-Ma-to-Poe-I-A, which if you knew his love for Poe (complete with watching the Fall of the House of Usher forwards and backwards) you would totally laugh. . .

very cute. my parents said that one of my first words was “toes.” maybe that is why i always have to have a pedicure!
