This one is for Gramma

Hey Mom,

Remember that cute little Lilly doll you got Ava. Yes, you know the one that has only one songtrack of her counting to 10 and then laughing in a giddy way. Yup–we’ve all been subjected to hours of Lilly torture as this is Ava’s new favorite toy. Dan even sings along with it and dances in a hysterical kinda way. No wonder she carried it everywhere. It even went to Manhattan–that’s an hour and a half on the subway in each direction! Hopefully my child will be a Little Einstein and count to 10 soon so we can conveniently “lose” this toy šŸ™‚ We love you.

Your Daughter, Jaime

PS to the Bloggy readers–Ignore the mess in that background! This is like Day 3 of unpacking, and the day before recyclables can be picked up.

About jaimeanne

I'm me. Graphic designer extraordinaire, urban master teacher of social studies, former adjunct professor, high school principal, and now most importantly-- Mom to the cutest little girl ever. I try to live by the quote, "Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching." I believe in Christ, and sometimes I'm just trying to figure out what He wants me to do. This blog chronicles that journey.

  1. Jaime's Mom says:

Everyone HAS to have at least one toy like that!
She at least chose something that she can build good concepts on. What can I say? The price of education starts early.
    I love you, too!
