It’s nice but only does NYC – not LA, Boston or other places I have tried 😦

    Emily,

I thought Street Finder was available for Boston and LA. Or maybe it is just for the Bay Area and NYC.

That is *seriously* cool. A little bit of me worries what happens if you go too far down the road to the ‘surveillance society’ or whatever. But man, that’s fun to use! At the moment, I *would* like to see it other places. . . .

I used the regular [downloadable] Google Earth App to fly around and zoom in on different places my Grandfather used to live as I talked to him about his history. Was very awesome as it would elicit stories about the geography and whatnot. [‘they didn’t have a store up there because it was so hard to haul things up that steep road so everybody . . .’ etc.]
