Snowy Valentine’s Day

Here in Pennsylvania, we’ve had quite a dry season with snowfall. Most of the snow that has fallen has been lake-effect snow, where we get the tail end, get basically a dusting. Now we’re about to get a foot of snowfall just in time for Valentine’s Day. Boy, I wonder how this will play out. For the basic dusting of snow that we’ve gotten to this point, these back roads to our house have not been cleared of snow well. How well will they clean them up? Are we going to be stuck in our homes for days?

Far different than our Valentine’s Day two years ago. The artist Cristo presented his The Gates in Central Park. Jaime and I walked around observing The Gates.

For Valentine’s she bought me tickets to see Hairspray, one of the popular Broadway shows recently.

What did I get her or do for her for Valentine’s Day that year? A gift that cost nothing, but something which she greatly appreciated and loved. Just between us.
