So Dan found out that he has dermatitis herpeteformis in August 2005, just after we got married. Ever since we’ve been trying to go gluten free. We did a great job for 2 years while in Northeast PA, where WalMart has a number of gluten free sauces. Since moving back to NYC, it’s been more difficult. We’ll be chronicling our journey, and the yummy recipes we develop along the way.
It’s quite the challenge for Dan to live without yummy sourdough bread, cookies and other baked goods. We are not dairy free, vegetarian/vegan or sugar free. We’re just trying to make our favorite recipes in a gluten-free way. We’ll post whatever we find that’s delicious.
