I used to think this was the case. . . Do I still think so?
To some extent–yes. Getting the word out there is very valuable, when my biggest challenge as a school leader is letting people know that Queens Collegiate exists and will be thriving in September.
Was the press correct? No, not really. The building isn’t overcrowded. With the DOE’s new reporting, I can’t find the statistical report that shows building capacity, but it’s nowhere near 100% capacity.
Just in case anyone is Google-ing Queens Collegiate, please make sure that you see this page also.

Queens collegiate looks like a wonderful school that I would feel good about sending my children to. Once more people learn about it, they will realize that it’s a good choice for them. You and Dan have done a great job of deigning your web site. I wish you all the luck in the world and I’m sure the powers that be will come to your aid soon.
